Chris HawleyChris Hawley 

Chris started Sage when he was 18 years old, he thinks at that point he was something like employee number 63 (Sage are now over 6,000 employees worldwide!). Times have changed since the early days and so has Chris (besides getting more wrinkles) he has worked with businesses of all sizes and shapes from start-ups to large corporates and internationals.

His experience comes from a number of roles both within Sage and the outside world ranging from Sales, Technical Support to Account Management and Commercial Management. However, his proudest achievement was as a Product Manager steering the Sage 200 Suite, over 5 years to the successful product it is today.

As such he earned the label in Sage of Mr Sage 200 and takes pride at how many people are now employed based on the success of the product.

Jules Hawley

Jules Young-Hawley

How do you describe Jules? Well to start the word expert would be a good fit. Besides knowing the majority of the Sage product range inside out she is also one of a handful of true Sage Manufacturing experts across the country.

Why? Well if you have ever contacted your Sage Business Partner and they needed to consult Sage for advice, they would have spoken to someone like Jules.

If it was about Sage Manufacturing it would have definitely been Jules. However, Jules has now brought her knowledge and experience to the region (and beyond she is still regularly consulted by other Sage Partners...) - not just for Sage Manufacturing but for the whole range of Sage products.

Jules is also an expert at developing lean business processes and credit management procedures, in fact she is regularly called in by our clients to setup on their credit chasing processes and teams.

Steve Smith Steve Smith

Steve was first introduced to Sage when he was 19 working as a Line 100 Support Technician, my how things have changed...

From there, he has gone on to master the Sage 200 suite of products. Steve has a technical background and understands not only the program itself but also the intricacies of the SQL database that sits behind Sage 200. This has given him a significant advantage in not only his support of the product but also in report, layout and workspace design. 

With his hunger for knowledge, he has now  assimilated modules such as Manufacturing, Project Accounting and CRM. He also acquired knowledge of the key 3rd party products that integrate into Sage 200 which include the Document Distribution Package Spindle Professional and the Credit Management Module Credit Hound.

In fact there isn't much Steve doesn't know - he is like a modern day 'page the oracle'.

John Evans

John Evans

After attending University in Newcastle John began at Sage in 1995.  Initially supporting Sage Payroll he became a technical expert on the entire Sage 50 range of products including Sage Accounts, HR and ACT!.  While at Sage he trained many of the technicians who still work on technical support today and was heavily involved in the development of Sage Payroll. 

In 2005 he became a Sage Business Partner Account Manager responsible for the training and support of over 100 businesses in the North of England.  This included ensuring their continued growth, helping them develop strategies for sales and marketing, and importantly enhancing the support proposition their offered to their own clients.

After leaving Sage he setup his own Sage training company and has delivered end-user training on behalf of Sage (UK) Ltd. on Payroll and the new RTI Legislation to over 1,000 customers nationwide.

John is now a fully qualified Sage 200 Consultant and is our Ninja master at Zoho CRM.

Leanne Wilson

Leanne is our Office Manager here at The Northern Path bringing with her experience in both Customer Services and Financials.

She worked at Sage in a Customer Service role providing support for various departments and making sure customer calls were handled professionally.

After leaving Sage Leanne worked for a number of local Charities increasing her knowledge in office administration and gaining qualifications in Sage accounting. This gave her the necessary skills to progress in her career.

As Office Manager Leanne has a variety of roles ranging from Administration, Finances, Customer Service, Social Media (she is the queen of Twitter!) and Marketing. She has recently completed a certification in Xero which we will be bringing to our customers soon and is currently studying towards a further AAT qualification.
